People seem to think that animals are treated kindly in the zoo and circus. Sad to say, not every organization treat animals kindly and appropriately. There are even some that think it’s fun inflicting pain on innocent animals.

Cholita endured horrific years as part of cruel circus in north west Peru, who cut off her fingers and broke her teeth. Cholita lost all of her fur due to stress, and for years there was nowhere for her. It was one of ADI’s most emotional rescues ever.
